Textron engineered its new 2018 Prowler Pro workhorse to be quiet, smooth and customizable. The three-seater UTV has a 50hp 812cc engine and a noise-reducing design.
To keep the 2018 Prowler Pro quiet, it has a sound-dampening intake and a rear-mounted engine for less noise and vibration. It also has a vibration-reducing frame and precision-tuned exhaust.
The work-ready UTV has a 2000-pound tow capacity and can carry 1500 pounds of payload. The 1000-pound-capacity cargo box can tilt, and the handy pre-installed wiring makes it easier to add any of the more than 50 available accessories. Manufactured at Textron’s factory in Minnesota, MSRP starts at $11,399 and an XT version (MSRP $12,999) with power-steering and upgraded wheels is also available.

The Textron Off Road story starts in 2003, in Natchez, Mississippi, where Textron built all-electric and hybrid gas/electric 4WD vehicles under the name Bad Boy, gaining a reputation among serious hunters for stealth, off-road performance. In 2010, Textron Off Road became part of Textron Inc., a Fortune 250 company, known worldwide for its powerful aviation brands. The innovation Textron put into Bell helicopters, Cessna aircraft and more is now part of the Textron's story, and is key to its future.
