The new 2019 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 EPS has room for six.
Six people have room for their stuff in the completely redesigned interior that includes 19 gallons of storage, plusher seats and eight cup holders. The front and rear contoured seats flip-up to make more carry space, and there’s under-seat pass-through storage for carrying long items.
It is powered by an 82-horsepower ProStar engine, and the Crew XP 1000 EPS can tow up to 2500 pounds and carry 1750 pounds of payload. It has 13 inches of ground clearance, 11 inches of suspension travel, a full-body ski plates, and crew-specific-tuned shocks.
The big brother in the Ranger family has a rigid, one-piece chassis, sealed suspensions bushings, and a heavy-duty PVT clutch system. It is shod with 27-inch 6-ply Maxxis tires that have a redesigned tread made for longer life and puncture resistance. These new tires were also engineered to provide a quieter ride on any terrain. An engine-braking system was added to the Crew XP 1000 EPS to help smooth out descents and avoid wear on the brakes.
Polaris gave the six-seater UTV a large bumper, designed to bear the brunt of any punishment and protect the body work. The bumper also has lots of accessory-integration points. The recalibrated steering rack was added to make it easier to maneuver tight spaces, and the new dash has a dual sweep digital/analog gauge and a 4-inch LCD screen.
MSRP starts at $16,299 and a Northstar Edition is also available that includes heat and A/C.
