The 2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP is a completely new design from the ground up, with an all-new chassis, a new spacious cab and 181 hp engine.
“There’s no better way to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Polaris than by introducing world-class off-road machines that truly elevate each brand’s product offering,” said Chris Musso, president of Polaris Off-Road. “The all-new RZR Pro XP takes drivers to the next level and is the most capable, most agile and most versatile RZR we have ever built.
The 2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP is powered by a 925cc turbocharged twin-cylinder engine. It includes a new clutch design that is claimed to double the belt life.
It comes with a full-coverage skid plate, and the wheelbase is six inches longer, at 96 inches, which gives more leg room and a better handling over bumps. The new chassis has 17-inches front and 20-inches of rear suspension travel. Fox’s electronic Dynamix shocks are available on the Ultimate models, while the other two get Walker Evans shocks.
The axles are stronger, the hubs are new, the wheels are center less, and the tires are 30×10-14 Maxxis Carnivores.
The cockpit features a new race-inspired lower seating position, and a D-shaped steering wheel includes buttons for tilt and telescope adjustability. The dash has more blanks for adding extra switches. A six-point harness is also standard.
And it has a factory-installed fully integrated off-road audio system by Rockford Fosgate that was designed specifically for the Pro XP platform.
The top-of-the-line RZR Pro XP Ultimate comes with Polaris’ Dynamix 2.0 and an updated Ride Command system.

From its entrepreneurial roots as a mechanical shop, Polaris has grown into one of the world’s largest powersports companies. And in recent years, Polaris has expanded beyond powersports into adjacent markets, such as commercial and military vehicles. Polaris added all-terrain vehicles to its lineup in 1984, and its products now include Ranger utility vehicles, RZR recreational side-by-sides, Indian Motorcycle, GEM electric vehicles and the Slingshot.
