The stock intake system can be one of the most restricting parts on your vehicle if it limits the amount of air the engine receives. So replacing the stock cold-air intake can add horsepower and torque. You can now get the aFe Power Aries Intake System to fit many of the popular UTV models out today, including the 2013-16 Can-Am Maverick 1000cc. According to aFe, this system can increase flow by 81 percent along with adding horsepower and torque.
FEATURES:
One-Piece Housing:
The one-piece sealed rotationally molded housing is used to eliminate the use of multiple components and ensure the coolest air-intake charge available. The housing incorporates a uniquely designed snorkel adaptor that accommodates most aftermarket high-rised snorkel systems for deep fording capabilities.
Mandrel-Bent Tubing:
A 3″ aluminum one-piece mandrel-bent intake tube directs unrestricted airflow from the filter for more horsepower and torque.
Aluminum Cover:
A clear-coated aluminum cover is used to finish off this intake and allows easy access for filter servicing.
Three-Angle Adaptor:
The three-angle adaptor is used to speed up the airflow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response.
Large 7-Layer Performance Air Filter:
A large Pro-GUARD 7 performance air filter uses 5-layers of progressive cotton media and 2-layers of progressive synthetic media providing 99.7-percent cumulative efficiency for maximum filtration. (PG7 US PAT 06811588)
