Corry Weller began her racing career on the motocross track in 2001 racing quads, but in 2007 she switched to UTVs and never looked back.
In that turning point year of 2007, she was on the short-course in the highly competitive UTV class, going Pro after only a few races.
Her driving style drew the attention of many, as did her work ethic at the track. Known for driving smooth, driving smart and being fast, it also wasn’t unusual to see her cleaning off mud or working side by side with her husband and crew on her race vehicle.
Weller says she’s used Maxxis tires since the start of her UTV racing career. Here’s Weller in 2016, driving and reviewing the Maxxis Liberty tires mounted on a YXZ1000R:
Maxxis Liberty Tires on a YXZ1000R Driven by Corry Weller
The Maxxis Liberty is a true light-truck-inspired tire, engineered for performance to give drivers freedom in a variety of terrains. The tire has a specialized rubber compound for excellent traction on rocks and desert terrains, and its eight-ply radial construction means it can withstand the heavier loads and high speeds of modern SxS machines.
