There are times when decreasing tire pressure is a plus, such as when riding in deep sand or over big rocks. The ARB505 ARB E-Z Deflator is a handy tool for when you want to drop your tire’s psi.
Some of the bigger UTV tires need to drop from more than 30 psi to 15 psi or less. Not only can this take a while, but it can be tedious to constantly check, recheck, until you get the pressure you want.
ARB has a gadget to make this process more accurate and also faster: The ARB505 ARB E-Z Deflator.
The ARB E-Z Deflator ($42) screws onto the valve stem and allows you to remove the valve core, letting air zoom out when you need it to. It makes airing down simple, precise, and quick, and you can check the pressure as you go with the heavy-duty gauge that is calibrated to read accurately at lower pressures.
It’s small enough to carry in a glovebox and comes in a protective canvas pouch.
