The Ultra4 Racing Nitto National Championship race was held in October at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada, just outside Reno.
More than 130 teams were entered in the race for the sold-out crowd. The main race consisted of 12 laps around a brutal course that included short-course action, hillclimbs, high-speed sections and treacherous rocks.
A pileup going up King Shock hill brought out the red flag moments after the start of the main race, and all the drivers lined back up again to give it another go. A second red flag shuffled the drivers on the grid for the next restart. In the end, Team Nitto drivers took all three top spots in the National points.
