For this week’s Fast Friday, we revisit the UTVUnderground RJ Anderson XP1K2 feat in three stages: The Build, The Story, The Execution.
In 2013, a young RJ Anderson blew up the Internet with a 10-minute video in which he took a heavily modified Polaris RZR through a gnarly obstacle course. A year later, XP1K2 was born. Here is how XP1K2 all came together:
UTVUnderground.com provided the custom Holz Racing-built Polaris RZR XP 1000 Side-by-Side, complete with a Polaris ProStar 1000 Muzzys Performance engine and custom Walker Evans Racing shocks. The video has RJ giving the low down on this 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the making of XP1K2. See how The Martelli Brothers, Mad Media, UTVUnderground and RJ Anderson joined forces to construct and orchestrate XP1K2. The location of the terrifying obstacle course was in a remote wooded location near Mt. Baker, Washington.

From its entrepreneurial roots as a mechanical shop, Polaris has grown into one of the world’s largest powersports companies. And in recent years, Polaris has expanded beyond powersports into adjacent markets, such as commercial and military vehicles. Polaris added all-terrain vehicles to its lineup in 1984, and its products now include Ranger utility vehicles, RZR recreational side-by-sides, Indian Motorcycle, GEM electric vehicles and the Slingshot.
