The Pro UTV Racers

The UTV classes are expanding and growing in SCORE Desert Racing… so much so, that SCORE added two Sportsman Stock UTV classes to the 2018 BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500. In this week’s edition of Fast Friday, we meet some of the racers in the UTV classes of the Baja 500.

The two added Sportsman Stock UTV classes complement the other Sportsman UTV Unlimited class, along with the Pro UTV FI, Pro UTV and Pro UTV Unlimited classes that were already part of the SCORE World Desert Championship.

This year’s 50th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500 race had a total of more than 300 vehicles entered, hailing from 32 states and 14 countries.

Here’s a look back to a few years ago with the Stock Pro UTV Class 19 racers. The video is from a series called Roost! that is put out by SCORE International. This episode showcases the Pro UTV drivers that make Class 19 so exciting. Featured racers are Matt Parks, Brandon Schueler, Marc Burnett, Derek Murray, Alonso Lopez and Johnny Angal.
