Giant Loop specializes in making gear for adventure-seekers, and, for 2018, the Oregon-based company has upgraded its double-ended, 100-percent waterproof dry bag lineup.
The Giant Loop bags are mud proof, snow proof, dust proof, waterproof, and can be attached to just about any vehicle. And with the new backpack straps, it’s easier to take your gear with you on foot when the UTV trail ends.
Named after rivers in Oregon, the Rogue (17 liters), Tillamook (38 liters) and Columbia (70 liters) dry bags now have air-purge valves, backpack straps, beefy molded rubber grab handles, and additional D-ring attachment points.
The 2018-edition bags also have a new look, with more reflective accents and two-tone gray and black styling.
Rogue Dry Bag (17 liters) $85
Columbia Dry Bag (70 liters) $135-$149
Tillamook Dry Bag (38 liters) $130
All these bags are made from heavy-duty vinyl tarpauline with RF-welded seams. Giant Loop’s Dry Bag line features reflective daisy chains that prevent the dry bags from slipping out from under straps, even in the roughest terrain.
The Tillamook and Columbia Dry Bags include built-in anchor straps that secure to four solid connections on any vehicle or cargo rack. Both ends of the bags roll up closed, so gear can be accessed without removing anchor straps.
