DEI has a new 13-piece heat-shield kit for the Can-Am Commander. The kit can reflect and insulate the cockpit from excessive heat and also minimize engine noise and vibration inside the cabin.
The Can-Am Commander has sporty performance and aggressive power delivery, but it is prone to heat build-up in the cockpit, especially during slow running conditions or when a roof and windshield are installed. DEI now offers a rugged, 13-piece heat shield kit that not only reflects and insulates the cockpit from excessive heat, but also reduces engine noise and vibration inside the Commander.
Each piece is adhesive backed and precision cut for easy installation. It fits 2011-17 two-seater Can-Am Commanders and is listed with an MSRP starting at $229.95.
DEI has tips for controlling heat issues in any ATV, UTV or powersport vehicle. Here is a how-to video from DEI, using a Polaris RZR 800.
