Honda Motor Company has been working on an autonomous ATV, and had a prototype at the annual CES (Consumer Electronics Show) that took place in Las Vegas in January 2018.
The Autonomous ATV, called Honda 3E-D18, was designed by Honda R&D Americas as a tool for construction, agriculture, firefighting, search and rescue.
Honda evaluated the Autonomous Work Vehicle at an agricultural research facility in California, and continues to seek partners to develop the platform’s capabilities. Businesses that may have a need for the vehicle and technology partners who can advance the platform’s off-road autonomy, are encouraged to email the Autonomous Work Vehicle team at AWV@hra.com.
