King Shocks Shootout at Backdoor
Back Door Battle
ULTRA4 Racing and Southern Rock Racing Series teamed up to host the 2014 King Shocks Shootout at Backdoor —an epic battle to see who could climb the infamous “Back Door” trail in the fastest time.
With King Shocks, 4 Wheel Parts, Dynomax, RCV, Raceline Wheels, offering up a $10K purse, riders put the hammer down.
It was 2013 King of the Hammers winner, Randy Slawson who put everyone in their place with a time of 30.522. The crowd favorite went to Matt Myrick of Busted Knuckle Racing who lost his rear axle and drove away on two wheels leaving behind the rear end of his car.
