The Moose Racing Battery Isolator kit will prevent your auxiliary electrical components from draining your primary battery, so you don’t end up stranded.
The 140-amp smart Battery Isolator kit ($89.95) from MUD can identify when a load is greater than the generator/stator can produce, and it then draws power from a secondary battery. So it uses the secondary battery to power your winch, stereo, cab heater, lights or other accessories.
This prevents the primary battery from dying or losing power when you are powering accessories. MUD says its a universal fit and comes with all necessary wiring and connectors to wire a dual-battery system. The kit comes with a three-wire connection that uses the UTV’s existing wiring.
