Optima Batteries showed the SEMA crowd a preview of its upcoming battery trays, which are expected to be out in 2019.
The new battery tray is designed to protect batteries from impact shocks and also provide vibration isolation. The trays will come in a variety of colors and styles, and they can be used for a wide range of applications, including UTV off-roading.
“For decades, Optima Batteries has been producing innovative products enthusiasts rely on in a variety of vehicles and applications,” said Cam Douglass, Director of Marketing, Optima Batteries, Johnson Controls. “These new additions to the OPTIMA product family will give our fans more opportunities to customize their vehicles while also providing even more incredible protection for racers, off-roaders, and boaters.”
The new Optima battery trays, along with more new accessories, are expected to be available on the Optima Batteries website and in retail locations in 2019.
Optima likes to test its products in the most extreme conditions. This year, Optima took its YellowTop battery through a series of Ultimate Torture Tests at some of the most legendary courses, tracks and runs in the world, including the 2018 King of the Hammers (KOH).
