Ranger Country is Polaris’ way of recognizing people, places and causes that best represent Ranger lifestyle.
This year, Polaris wanted to find a cause that honored the men and women who protect and serve this great nation and all it has to offer. LEEK Hunting & Mountain Preserve does this and more with the community it has created. LEEK, founded by United States Army Colonel Ed Fisher, is an outdoor retreat for wounded warriors and their families. The LEEK property allows them to participate in outdoor recreation as a means of rehabilitation and find camaraderie.
U.S. Army Vet Pat Skelly is one of those who enjoys visiting LEEK. Skelly served in the United States Army in Vietnam, losing both legs in an RPG attack.
Skelly says the camaraderie is one of the primary reasons he enjoys LEEK. This video has Pat Skelly talking about LEEK:

From its entrepreneurial roots as a mechanical shop, Polaris has grown into one of the world’s largest powersports companies. And in recent years, Polaris has expanded beyond powersports into adjacent markets, such as commercial and military vehicles. Polaris added all-terrain vehicles to its lineup in 1984, and its products now include Ranger utility vehicles, RZR recreational side-by-sides, Indian Motorcycle, GEM electric vehicles and the Slingshot.
