Polaris packed in features specific for tacking the mud in its Ranger XP 1000 EPS High Lifter Edition. It comes factory-equipped with 28-inch Outlaw 2 tires, arched a-arms and purpose-built bumpers. It runs on the ProStar 1000 engine producing 82 HP, and the overall driveline strength is bumped up by 20-percent.
Mud-specific arched A-arms deliver 13.5-inches of ground clearance that combines with 11-inches of suspension travel to clear the swamps. A heavy-gauge full-chassis skid plate protects, and the air intakes are higher mounted. All vent lines are integrated into the cab frame to keep them free of debris, and the fuse box is higher up, too.
It has a factory-installed Polaris Pro 4,500 LB HD winch, and it comes with half doors that have drains to evacuate water and mud from the cab. A standard rear view mirror, higher-mounted storage compartments, and a new combo digital/analog gauge are also standard in the High Lifter version.
MSRP starts at $19,999, and the Crew version that seats six starts at $21,499.
