Tusk Quiet Glide UHMW skid plate is made from 3/8-inch-thick UHMW – ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. UHMW is used to make everything from body armor to dump beds of mining trucks. What exactly is it? UHMW polyethylene is an impact-, chemical-, and moisture-resistant plastic that has excellent abrasion resistance and a low-friction surface. This means your UTV can glide over obstacles instead of getting hung up.
The Tusk Quiet Glide UHMW Skid Plate has countersunk hardware to prevent snagging. MSRP ranges from $349.99 to $589.99, and it is made in the USA.
